Thanks all for the identification of my previous photo from British India. I have another old photograph in my collection that I can’t identify, N 64545. Maybe it’s glaringly obvious to the trained eye, as to where it was registered – any ideas?

Hi, This is a province license plate from the Netherland. N stands for Noord Brabant province. The number was issued in the 40ees. From 1952 there came a national license plate system Thanks
Thanks for the quick reply Wim,i will now bow my head in shame for not realising the obvious,i fact I have a full size car plate from Noord Brabant in my collection so I should have known.
I cannot identify the origin of the number but am pretty sure that the bike is a James 98cc Consort with 2 speed gearbox. C. 1950
