I can assure you that this car is from British India. I think that the letter “P” means Punjab and the letter “C” is serial.
At first I thought of Palestine Mandate, but it cannot be, starting with ‘P’. I agree with Antonio – BI, on a circa 1937 US Ford, I opine. Agreed, Cedric?

I was thinking India due to the smaller letters.
I think the car is a Dagenham-built Ford V8.
